Not sure what kind of therapy you need? That's okay — we have an exploration guide for that too. If you do know, you tell us. Either way, you answer questions about what you're going through, how you want to feel in sessions, what you're hoping to get out of therapy, and the practical stuff like insurance and location. It takes about 10 minutes.

We run the algorithm — then we review it
Our matching algorithm scores your responses against every therapist profile on Patch — looking at modality, specialty, insurance, location, availability, and therapeutic style. Then a real person at Patch reviews the top matches before anything goes to you. No match gets sent without human eyes on it first.

We'll reach out with your matches — who they are, what they do, and why we think they're a fit for you specifically. From there, it's yours. Book a consult, see how it feels. If it's not right, tell us and we'll keep looking.
